About me
In my 18 years at daily newspapers/Web sites, I have transitioned a newsroom to a nearly 24/7 operation, served as the primary architect for the first daily Berliner-style paper in North America, been involved with a twice-weekly paper going daily and an afternoon paper converting to a.m. (also twice).
In that time, I’ve kept my sense of humor and enjoyed grooming and developing reporters, editors and others for larger responsibilities.
Currently, I am the managing editor of the Journal & Courier, a 40,000 daily newspaper in Lafayette, Ind. I manage a newsroom of 48 people, and am responsible for daily, short-term and long-term projects for both print and online.
